Collecting Beatlemania.
The single page on which John Lennon scrawled the lyrics of All You Need is Love in 1967 before the Beatle's last TV appearance was sold for $1.2 million at a auction. By contrast, Day in the Life lyrics failed to sell in a sealed-bid auction by Bonhams & Butterfields. The auction house was hoping to get at least $2 million, but collectors apparently weren't willing to ante up a record price.
